Privacy Policy

The short version

Direct Your Football Operations (DYFO) is a hobby tool for tracking Madden franchises. We collect user data — specifically your email address and username — to run your account, plus, optionally, your EA username. We do not sell, rent, or share your information, and we do not run advertising or third-party tracking.

How this site was built

DYFO was built with the help of AI tools. AI assistance was used to write and maintain parts of the site's code; it did not have access to your account data and is not used to process or analyze the information described in this policy.

What we store about you

• Username — how you sign in and how you are identified in the app.
• Email address — used only to send password-reset links and account-related messages.
• EA username (optional) — used to match your team when you send data in from the Madden Companion App.
• Your password — stored only as a one-way bcrypt hash. We never store it in a readable form and cannot see it.

Your franchise data

Everything you enter or import about your league — teams, rosters, contracts, draft picks, stats, notes — is stored so the site can show it back to you across seasons. It is game data, not personal data, and it is only visible to your account.

Cookies

We use cookies only to make the site work. Specifically:

• A sign-in cookie so you stay logged in while you use the site.
• Small site preference cookies, such as remembering that you dismissed the welcome message and accepted cookies.

There are no advertising, analytics, or cross-site tracking cookies, and we do not build a profile of you or record anything about your device or browsing outside this site.

Deleting your data

You can delete a franchise from inside the app at any time. If you want your account and everything attached to it removed, send us a note through the in-app Feedback link and we will delete it.
