These are the in-game (Madden) settings we've found work best alongside DYFO. None of them are required — the site works with whatever settings you choose — but they're a good starting point if you're not sure what to pick.
"No Rating Inflation" has been tested out to 10 seasons with the league average overall growing less than 2 points over that span. Without it, roughly 80% of teams end up with 90+ Overall, Offense, and Defense ratings, which flattens the difference between good and bad rosters.
Confirm the default overall range before touching anything else — with the default range, the highest overall in a draft class is around 83, with about 5 players total over 80 overall.
For the individual weight "ticks," try not to look at the actual numbers — close your eyes and set them with the D-pad or another blind method. These weights are saved and carried forward: next season's adjustments build on top of whatever you set this time.
